Bananatic is a bit of a mouthful to say… but is it fun to play?
Yes… I did just say that. I’m feeling a little Bananas today!
So, let’s start chomping down, on my sweet Bananatic review.
🙂 OK… I’m done.
Seriously, you may be wondering what’s with the weird title of this post?
Well, every time I look at the word Bananatic, I keep thinking of Bananaman!
Bananaman was a cartoon that I absolutely loved from in the 80’s…. You probably need to be 30-something to know what I’m talking about.
I was surprised to discover, that they have the entire first series of Bananaman on YouTube, so you can see it for yourself…. HA!
If you’re wondering why I’ve hijacked my own review, with something totally irrelevant relating to Bananaman…
Well, I’m just having fun today ok, I feel in that kind of mood.
In any case, would Bananaman approve of Bananatic?
Well, yes, no doubt I think he’d probably have shares in the company or something. 🙂
What Is Bananatic About?
Bananatic gives gamers the opportunity to earn rewards for doing the thing they love the most…. gaming!
The platform boasts hundreds of different games, under many different categories.
You can earn points, (in the form of bananas) for various activities on the platform, (which I will cover in a moment).
One of the main ways you’ll earn bananas is by playing games to certain levels.
You build up your bananas over time and can exchange those for rewards later on, (including purchasing games/game related items, or various gift cards).
You can also enter prize draws with your bananas, if you don’t want to redeem rewards.
Getting Started With Bananatic – Signing Up!
Bananatic can be accessed either via the web, or via their App.
So, signing up with Bananatic is simple to do, via google, Facebook, or email.
I just used Facebook, because it was easiest.
You’re then given a little intro information.
Which basically simply states that you can play and test games, collect Bananas, (which is like their currency) and then exchange those bananas for rewards.
Many of the awards available, are related to gaming…. But I also saw an Amazon gift card tucked in there.
You can opt to choose the prize you’re going for immediately, or you can just wait and choose it later on.
You can see a small selection of prizes in the image below.
As you can see… A lot of guns!
But if you scroll along further, there are also many of games you can select.
Next up, you will be able to see the games available to you to play and the amount of bananas that you can earn for playing the game, (and completing certain quests).
There are a large number of games, in many different categories.
Ways To Make Money With Bananatic:
#1 The Key Way…. Quests:
Completing Quests is the key way you earn prizes with Bananatic – there are certain Quests you must complete per game.
Each time you complete the set Quest, you earn bananas.
There is a big variety of games – some of which you can simply play right on your browser, but there will be some you would need to download.
If you’re not able to download games, (or don’t want to) you can search specifically for games that you can play solely on your browser.
Each game will have different requirements.
For example; some pay bananas just for you signing up with a game, whereas others may require you to reach a certain level in the game.
In any case, there is usually going to be a set number of steps you have to follow to get paid your bananas – so, be careful to follow the instructions carefully.
In some cases, you may have to show proof that you’ve reached the correct level in the game — however, they give you thorough instructions of how you should do this.
#2 The FunZone:
Here you can earn via simply playing the games, but also via watching Ads at different times as you play.
Much like GPT or Survey sites, they have a paid/free offer section.
This is where you can look at offer walls and perform certain actions for certain points.
As you can see below, you can get 189 bananas for entering a competition to win a £100 visa card.
Just be careful entering these sorts of deals – they can very often lead to Spam, (use a separate email address).
Also, some offers involve signing up to a free trial, where you can be charged, if you do not cancel in time.
#4 Recommend Bananatic:
Here you can earn extra for recommending other people to join and participate with Bananatic.
If you know any big gamers, or if you have a gaming YouTube channel, or blog – then you’ll have more chance of making money with this aspect.
#5 Sharing Via Social Media:
Pretty obvious here, you can make more via sharing Bananatic via YouTube, Facebook, Google, or Twitter.
There actually weren’t options for me in this section when I checked. But I presume that there would be at other times.
#7 Bananapedia – Create A Video/Write An Article:
If you’re creative and love gaming, this could appeal to you.
In this section, you can write reviews or create videos and earn up to 300 bananas for doing so.
This may appeal to you more if you already have a blog, or YouTube channel .. or if you’re thinking of setting on up.
Generally, people are going to be writing reviews and creating videos for specific games
PROS VS CONS
- Low cash out from $5, (2,500 bananas).
- Referral program, (earn for recommending friends/family).
- Make a little for doing what you would do anyway/fun activities.
- Lots of games to choose from.
- Several payout options – including PayPal, gift cards, purchasing games…
- Can play via their app, or via your PC.
- Reaching cash out can take a long time – not much earning potential.
- You may have to take screenshots to prove you have reached certain levels in a game.
Is Bananatic Worth It?
If you’re somebody who already loves gaming, then why not participate in some of these games, while saving towards an reward?
There are lots of game-related rewards to choose from, so if you enjoy playing games online, then it’s worth taking a look here.
However, if you’re just looking at Bananatic as a way to make money online… then, I wouldn’t do it for that reason alone.
However, if you have a blog or YouTube channel related to gaming, you could make more with their referral program.
This is where you will make extra for recommending others to join Bananatic.
If you’re interested in trying it out for yourself, you can sign up here.
Beyond Earning Bananas Online?
It’s a good thing that you can now earn rewards for doing things that you are already interested in doing.
For example; I recently wrote about Apps that can pay you to walk.
Or about Apps that give you the chance to win real money, (some of those are good if you enjoy quizzing).
But so far, Apps don’t seem to pay very much at all, so they aren’t real income opportunities.

A great way to make money long term, is via a blog or website… and I have a step-by-step guide for that here.
I hope you enjoyed my Bananatic review, if you’d like to share your own experience – let me know in the comments.
All the best,
