Overall Rating: Legit. Could be a good way to check out some products that you’d not usually try. The only downside is, you won’t actually know what the product is, as they’re sent with blank packaging – so, you don’t know which brand it is, (which I’m guessing could influence your opinion before you’ve tried it).

What is clicks research about?

When I first read about Clicks Research, I presumed it was a regular paid survey site. But actually, this site is a bit different.

Because here you get the chance to get free samples from various brands to test out, in exchange for some feedback about the products.

The only thing is, you won’t actually know what brand the products are, or what the product will be called.

So, if you love the product – unfortunately you won’t know what it is to buy it!

However, all the products are completely safe to try and have gone through all the standard testing you would expect.

The products are not tested on animals.

At first glance, you may think the prospect of being sent lots of free stuff for basically nothing, is probably a scam.

But actually, companies around the world rely on getting feedback from prospective customers.

By getting people to test out their products for free; they can generate valuable feedback from them and learn how to improve.

They figure out what works and what they may need to improve.

You won’t always get accepted to get sent free samples; because companies will only be looking for a particular demographic.

However, even if you don’t get sent free samples every time, you can get points for answering their surveys anyway and once you reach their payout threshold, (2.500 points, which is £25) then you can withdraw.

You will be emailed a feedback questionnaire for every product you test and you’ll have to follow instructions as to what to do with the product; (for example – it may be a beauty product that you’ll need to test out for a couple of weeks).

How Do You Sign Up?

Simply add your details via the registration tab and then confirm your email address.

Once you have completed your registration there are a LOT of profiling questionnaires you need to fill out.

By completing these, it means they’ll be able to send you products that are relevant to you.

There will be 19 different profiling questionnaires in total. Each have from 1 to 61 questions, (at the time of writing).

I’ve found them all to be quite quick to fill out, even those with a lot of questions.

The topics of these questionnaires include:

It will take you a little while to get through all these questionnaires; but try to answer as honestly as you can and take your time.

It’s important to answer carefully because, these are the answers that will influence what products you may, or may not, be sent.

If you have certain allergies or conditions, for example; this would affect what products you can be sent.

Do You Get Paid For Surveys?

As well as sending you out free products to try, you can also participate on paid online surveys.

You’ll be emailed when one is available and can earn between 1-200 points. Once you have reached 2.500, you can withdraw £25.

If you don’t qualify for a survey, (which is common with online paid surveys) they will give you an entry into their £50 monthly prize draw.

How Often Will You Get Freebies?

How often you’re sent free products is going to depend on a wide variety of factors.

This could include; whether you’ve completed all you’re profiling questions.

What info you gave on you’re profiling questions, (as products will be chosen accordingly).

Where you live and simply how many products they’re working with.

So, there is no simple way to work this out! Your best bet is simply to sign up and see what happens.

How Long Do You Have To Reach Payout?

You have up to 5 years to reach the minimum £25 payout threshold – so, your points will not suddenly disappear after six months or anything.

However, if you are completely inactive on the website for a year and do not complete any surveys/questionnaire – then your points will expire after a year of being inactive.

How do you get paid?

Once you have reached 2500 points. Go to “incentive account,” and click on “claim reward.”

From here, you confirm your address and a cheque will be sent out to you within 4 weeks. It seems that you can only be paid by cheque at this time.

Pros Vs Cons:

PROS

• You can join as young as 16, (with parental permission).
• Get to have some influence over products on the high street.
• Get to try products for free.
• Can make a small amount of money.

CONS

• There is a high, (£25) payout threshold. For a lower payout threshold – try my top option.
• It could take you a long time to reach the payout threshold.
• You won’t have any idea how often you’ll get sent products.
• You won’t know the name of the product, so you won’t be able to purchase it in future if you like it.

Clicks Research Review Conclusion:

I can’t say how regularly you will be sent out freebies with this company.

But to ensure you have the best chance, ensure you complete all you’re profiling questionnaires in full.

If you’re interested in trying out products for free, perhaps ones you may not otherwise have purchased or tried – then this could be a fun way to do that.

If you’re purely after making or saving money online, then you may want to try a company that is more focused on things such as online surveys and cashback and has a lower payout threshold.

But as far as free products go, this is a legit company and you can only sign up and see what products you’re sent out!
