Hey all, bringing a quick Gain.GG review today – a platform that has somewhat flew under the radar for me, until very recently.
I hadn’t got around to writing about it – so, here we go.
I will be looking into exactly how you can potentially make money on this site, how much you could make and how you can cash-out.
Is it worth the effort that you’re going to put in, what do other people think about Gain.GG and what are the pros and cons?
Have you checked out this site yet?
I’m always looking to hear from people out there using these platforms. Let me know in the comments.
Gain.GG – Key Details:
- what is it? A GPT, (get-paid-to) rewards site.
- How much does it cost: It’s free.
- How much can you earn: pocket money.
- Is it legit? Yes, but low-income.
Want to make $100’s or $1000’s of dollars a month online? GPT sites won’t get you there. learn how to earn more here.
What is Gain.GG About?
Like many GPT websites, it provides a variety of different ways that you can make money.
The typical ways you can expect are…
- doing surveys,
- downloading apps,
- paid/free offers,
- watching videos.
This website actually only started up in 2018, so it’s working on growing its’ membership right now.
When I checked back on it today, it was also in maintenance … So, hopefully that issue will be back online in a few days.
How Do You Get Started?
Signing up is free to do and it has a more of an unusual way of signing up.
Usually you’d expect to sign up via email or Facebook with these sorts of sites.
With this one, you can sign in via Google or STEAM.
Because they take your details via these platforms, you can get started immediately without needing to fill out additional info.
You must only have one account per person, it doesn’t seem to deny others accounts in the household.
As a bonus, you also get 100 coins when you sign up. I will explain how much coins are worth a bit further down.
Different Ways To Earn With Gain.GG:
Paid surveys are one of the most popular ways to make money online – despite the fact that doing them can be very frustrating.
There are various ways you can do these via their offers wall but you’re going to be connected to third party providers in order to complete them.
This means you constantly have to register your details all the time and it’s quite annoying.
Due to companies wanting a specific demographic, you may find that you don’t qualify for surveys that easily and could spend more time trying to get accepted on to a survey than actually doing them.
(if you don’t want to get screened out from surveys, I recommend Prolific)
Gain.GG is connected to third party providers such as hideout.tv – where you can watch videos on a variety of topics and get paid a small amount for doing so.
For every 3 videos you complete, you get 9 coins — not much!
I will explain what points are worth further down – but watching videos is always going to be a low-pay option.
Offers – Free/Paid:
This will include having to complete certain tasks in order to get paid coins – this may be signing up to a free trial, joining a different website, (like a different GPT site), or various other things online.
Some sites will charge you after a trial period is up, so be sure to check the T&Cs.
There may be paid offers as well, where you need to pay a certain amount of money and then you get the same or more back in the form of points.
So, for example; you may need to join and make a deposit on an online casino.
Get Paid For Referrals:
By getting other people to join this platform via your affiliate link, you can earn 5% of their earnings for the lifetime of their membership.
However, 5% isn’t much….
Especially when you consider that most people simply don’t remain active on these types of platforms for long.
For other sites that pay you for referrals – check out this post.
How Much Are Coins Worth?
This is where we find out if this platform is worth your time….
1000 coins = $1
I mentioned earlier how much you can make from watching videos… yeh, 9 coins for a set of three.
So, from my perspective watching videos is not a good way to make money on this platform, (or any platform that I’ve seen for that matter).
Also, the 100 coin bonus you get for signing up looks pretty weak at this stage as well.
(Considering you get a $5 bonus opportunity on Swagbucks, by comparison).
If you want to make the most on this platform, sticking with offers and surveys that pay more – but it’s still going to be low-cost opportunity.
Also, what offers and surveys are available are going to be location dependent.
While you could sign up from Worldwide, the offers are going to largely target the US and Canada – with some also being available in the UK.
How Can You Cash-Out?
One of best parts about this site that I have found is the super-low cash-out threshold.
With many sites $5-$10 is going to be the minimum and I have seen as low as $1.
However, it’s just 10 coins here. BUT you can’t just sign up and cash out your 100 coins!!!
The very first time you cash-out, you need to have made a minimum of 200 coins via the offerwalls.
So, getting to that amount via other means – such as referrals – won’t work, you need to actually participate on the offerwalls at first.
There are various Cryptocurrency options for cashing out now, which seems a popular choice right now with GPT websites.
You can also get paid out via PayPal.
What Do Other People Say About Gain.GG?
Gain.GG doesn’t have much feedback online right now – with only 33 reviews at the time of writing on Trustpilot.com
However, right now it does have 4.4 stars on average.
There are some good reviews on here, from people that say they have made money and that it’s legit.
I also noticed that Gain.GG responded to the odd negative review on there, which is good to see.
PROS VS CONS
- Free sign up.
- Get paid to refer others.
- 100 coins for signing up.
- Cryptocurrency pay out options, like bitcoin.
- PayPal option.
- Various ways to earn.
- Live chat
- Referral program, but only 5% of earnings.
- Need 200 points via offerwall earnings to cash-out first time.
- Cash-out from only $0.01
- low income opportunity and some aspects seem to pay lower than other sites I’ve seen.
Concluding Thoughts – Is Gain.GG Worth It?
This site has some positive reviews online at this point and has a bunch of different ways to earn.
That said, it’s a very low income opportunity, even in comparison to similar websites of its kind.
Maybe this will improve over time, as this company grows in size… But only time will tell.
As long as you understand that a site like this is not going to provide you with a consistent income, you may enjoy it.
Some people just enjoy the process of doing online surveys, for example. Yep… believe it or not.
I guess I have enjoyed doing surveys at times, but the constant disqualification is the main issue for many.
Beyond Surveys & GPT:
I got into doing surveys years ago when a friend of mine said she made at least £50 a month ($63ish) doing online surveys.
At the time, this seemed like a worthwhile thing for me to do.
Even that amount of money could be a real help to me – but I didn’t envisage just how much time it would take me to complete surveys, let alone make anything reasonable money wise.
Since then, I’ve tried out various side hustles online and some have been more successful than others!
At the time of writing, I make the most online via affiliate marketing and paid advertising.
If you’d like to learn about that – you can start learning for free here.
It’s where I started, as someone who had zero understanding how people made money online at the time.
That concludes my Gain.GG review today – have you experienced this site? What do you make of it?
