Is dumb little system a scam – or is this a stupidly simple plugin system, that can generate you sales on autopilot?
Lets take a look and see.
DLS Review In Brief:
product: dumb little system
price: “Free”…in reality $10, $20 per month and potentially an extra $197.
Overall rating: Not a scam, but not recommended either! Read on to find out why….
What is “Dumb Little System” About?
This system is primarily aimed at people brand new to making money online and who want to side step some of the work that goes into affiliate marketing.
Dumb little system (or DLS) is based around the concept of using sales funnels that promote clickbank products – you need to drive traffic to sales funnels and earn commissions for the sales you make.
These sales funnels are already created for you and there are other things included to help you generate these sales too, such as email swipes and banners.
For every sale you make via your sales funnel, you make a commission ranging from $10-$90, (depending on the steps you take right at the beginning, which I will explain in a moment),

Who Is The DLS Creator: Bryan Winters?
Bryan winters has a reasonable reputation – while there have been mixed reviews about his products, (one criticism being they don’t deliver what they claim to) there have been some positive reviews too.
Bryan has been a successful marketer online for over 13 years. He’s also had a fair share of good reviews too – including reviews for a product called “commission miner.”
I also personally knew people to profit from commission miner – but they were already experienced online!
Is This Dumb Little System Free?
No, it’s in fact not free and it’s a tricky tactic to try and hook someone in initially to claim that it is.
You don’t have to pay money for the program maybe, but instead have to purchase certain products to access it. Then you also need additional money for paid traffic.
Anything you do buy will in some way benefit Bryan winters himself of course, whether via a commission or because it’s his own product.
I don’t like the fact you need to make several purchases before you’ve even gotten started – better to give people a chance to really experience what’s involved first and see if it’s something they can actually envisage doing.
Setting Up This System:
- To set up, you first need aClickbank account, because you need your clickbank ID right in the beginning. This part is free – Clickbank is free to join.
- You’re next confronted by a few products ranging from between $10-$67 dollars – you will be selling one of these products for commissions.
By purchasing just one product, you will then be able to promote all three clickbank products.
Make no mistake, Bryan is also making a commission here too. So, he will get a commission whether you go any further than this or not.
The minimum you can spend here, (for the cheapest product) is $10.
- You then need to buy another product, this is Bryans own product, which is called “cashblurbs.com”. This will in fact be a monthly membership charge of $20 and enable you to get commissions on autopilot.
$20 a month…. how is this on any level a free program to join with these conditions!?
- The final big surprise is: that in order to generate the highest commissions of all, ($90 a sale) you need to buy yet another item. The directory of Ezines for $197!!
Whooaa… for those going into this thinking this was free, this is certainly looking pricey.
Obviously, for what you get with this program, it was never going to be free.
But I don’t like the way he in which he goes about getting people to pay out, or the dishonesty behind it.
Imagine having gone through these steps so far, bought these products, sign up to the monthly membership – only to be confronted by yet another upsell for $197.
And no doubt, you’ll feel compelled to buy it, or else you’ll miss out if you’re not eligible to earn the highest commissions going!
But to invest in this before you have a single clue a) what you’re really going to be doing to generate sales effectively and b) an assurance that you’ll make anything whatsoever – will take quite a leap of faith.
But Now You Need Paid Traffic….
Even once you’ve finally made all your purchases and you’re ready to rock and roll, you now need more of a budget because you need to join UDIMI.
UDIMI is where you can by solo ads and no, this is certainly not free either.
A solo ad is where marketers who already have established sizeable email lists, will send out an email for you to their subscribers, promoting a product.
If their subscribers sign up to anything via your affiliate links, you will then make a commission.
The bad news is, if you’re completely new online and have zero subscribers, then you will need to have money to invest into these solo ads.
Solo ads can end up getting very expensive, not to mention pointless unless you know what you’re doing.
There is a question too, how many other people have subscribed to this program and are also trying to buy solo ads for exactly the same products – couldn’t it be that it’s over saturated?
You may end up purchasing solo ads that are sent to a list that has already seen an identical ad before – this will just be a waste of time and money.
However, on the plus side, Bryan does provide some training regarding solo ads and there is also a few other things that you get it included to help you – such as email swipes, graphics, banners and so on.
Even so, this could be very overwhelming for someone brand new online and there is a risk that you’ll end up spending more than you make.
So, What Is Dumb Little System: A SCAM, Or Legit?
This isn’t a scam, it’s a legitimate program and there is a possibility that you can make some money from it.
However, it’s not a newbie friendly program in my opinion, as much as they’d like to market it as that.
I also dislike how they try and lure you in by claiming it’s “free,” and is easy to set up.
My Advice to you:
If you’re brand new online, you’re far better off building a solid foundation knowledge about internet marketing before you go into something like this – as well as learn about generating traffic via paid AND free methods.
It is in fact absolutely possible to start making money online using entirely free traffic methods.
It can take quite a bit of time and effort – but it can be done!
You’re better of learning how affiliate marketing works from the ground up and earning commissions for yourself, rather than relying on a “system” to completely support you.
What happens when the program ends, or it’s shut down?
If you don’t have any real knowledge behind you, you’re just back to square one.
For a newbie friendly zone, check out this program first.
There is also a 10 part training course that is ACTUALLY free and won’t bombard you with upsells.
Have you had any luck with dumb little system?…. I’d really love to know!
All the best…. 🙂
