What Is Panel Bucks? Can You Make Big Bucks?
Panelbucks.com is another survey related website, that pays you for money for doing simple tasks, such as answering basic questions in paid surveys.
Today, I’m just bringing you this quick review, to let you know what this site is about and whether you can actually make any money here.
At this point in time, you are eligible to sign up if you’re from the US, Canada, UK or Australia.

When You Sign Up To Panel Bucks:
When I initially signed up, it told me my Zip code wasn’t valid.
This is probably because I’m in the UK, but I needed to add a US zip code to enter, (even though UK are allowed & I got no response from emailing support).
As soon as I signed up, I was immediately taken to another section where you are asked if you want to sign up to other providers.
These are mainly other survey related sites, cashback sites, or sweepstake offers.
There were SEVEN whole pages of these offers at the time of writing – so, if you don’t want to be bombarded with spam, I suggest you say no to them all.
Once You’re Inside PanelBucks:
There are six tabs along the main page of PanelBucks and the first one you’re directed to, is the market research section:
In this area, they suggest you join another bunch of similar survey-related sites, that may have market research opportunities.
If you want to join any of these, I would check them out first via reviews and you can also sign up to them independently, rather than via Panel Bucks.
Also, actual market research opportunities are pretty rare to come by in my experience.
Live Paying Surveys:
Before you can access this section, you need to give them your full address and details.
I found this a bit strange at this point, but went for it to access the surveys.
When I go there, there was only one available. It claimed to be for $6, which I felt was likely BS, because most surveys are for considerably less than this.
Sure enough, after being asked a whole bunch of questions, I was told I didn’t qualify.
Therefore, I’d given them all that information for free and received zero.
I was already feeling uneasy about this site by this stage.
For this section, you have to go an access and sign into, (yet again) other providers.
The survey sites it directs to are all well known and some are popular sites. But they’re also ones you could just join directly.
You needn’t bother signing up for this site just for them to direct you right on for others.
For example, they recommend Swagbucks and it’s one of the few survey sites I recommend, (see full review here) but you don’t need to join Panelbucks to sign up!!
Again, this section just sends you to other sites, where you can join for freebie offers, (generally really bad for SPAM).
This was starting to feel like Deja vu.
Work from home jobs:
Yet again, this section merely provides you with a list of other programs or websites you can join.
But worst of all, they ALL appear to be links to work at home SCAMS… aside from one link, which led to nowhere.
So, far from offering you legit, “work from home opportunities,” they’d be sending you directly into a work from home scam.
Panel Bucks Make Over Inflated Claims:
The fact that they’re dishonest about what you can earn here, isn’t a good sign either.
For example, they say you could earn up to $75 a survey and $150 for a focus group.
Focus groups are something these sorts of sites will always go on about, because if you DO get on one, they can pay OK.
However, focus groups are really few and far between, the chances of getting on one are slim.
I’ve always opted in for being contacted by focus groups and, for the last couple of years, have never actually been in one.
Have you had any experience with focus groups? Leave me a comment below!
My first impression of this site was that it doesn’t look very popular, trustworthy, nor professional.
Is Panel Bucks Just A Portal To Other Sites?
I’ve seen plenty of sites like this around now – which are really nothing but portals linking out to other websites.
They show you websites you can sign up to and, if you do, they can earn a commission from you.
But sites like this don’t have any individuality and don’t hold much value at all on their own.
Not to mention, they can be dangerous for some people who will sign up to potential scam sites in their “work form home,” section.
Ultimately, there are so many survey sites floating about now, you do not need to join this one just to be connected to tonnes of others.

Are Survey Sites Worth Your Time?
Panel Bucks might like you to imagine that you can make a lot of money from just surveys alone, but that’s not the case.
Realistically, you may make a dollar or less per survey. Typically, it could range from 10 minutes to half an hour.
But that’s if you can actually FINISH the survey at all, because so often you’ll be answered a bunch of questions before they tell you that you “don’t qualify.”
(just like I was told during my first survey with Panel Bucks!).
I don’t waste much time on surveys at all anymore, but prefer the sites where you’ll get paid for things you already do anyway, like surf the web.
Just don’t believe anyone that tells you that you can make a tonne of money from sites like this, because you really can’t.
Use these sites for a bit of fun, as a supplementary income, or some pocket money – if you like.
But don’t spend hours upon hours doing it, just to have to start all over the next day and not even make minimum wage.

Making More Online Long-Term:
If you’re going to really put time and effort into something, put it into something that can accumulate over time and that will grow.
The best way to do that, is to start building your own online business.
It’s not as complicated as it sounds.
*this training showed me how it’s done.
