What Is The QuickThoughts App & Can It Really Make You Money?
I came across this App when I was checking out another rewards site online called Maximiles.
I hadn’t yet heard of this and have been reviewing a lot of apps recently, so I would download it and check it out.
On closer inspection, it seemed to have some fairly decent feedback so I downloaded it to take a look and I hope this QuickThoughts app review will be useful to you.
I was interested to know: is this just your standard Survey Panel App? Or were there more ways to earn?

Review In Brief:
Company: QuickThoughts – Survey Panel App
Money Making opportunity: Earn giftcards
Cost: Free
Overall verdict: Quickthoughts app is Legit – it has some interesting surveys, but how many you qualify for will vary & depend on many factors.
This app is best used in conjunction with some other reward sites. It only seems that Itunes vouchers are available in the UK as a reward right now though!?
So, What Is QuickThoughts App About… And How Does It Work?
If you’d like to make money with QuickThoughts, it is simple to get signed up.
Initially, you give your email, followed with some basic info – such as date of birth and address. You can also let them know if you’d like to be sent push notifications.
Once that is done, you’re directed straight to the main panel.
From here, you can choose surveys to complete for cash. There didn’t appear to be any other ways to earn, which was a bit of a shame but what I expected.
What I did find odd was that the first survey I was offered claimed it would take 15 minutes…. for ZERO money?
I wondered if this first survey was more of a profiling questionnaire… although, it didn’t say so.
I went ahead and tried to complete it anyway.
The questions were largely based on electronics, so it clearly wasn’t a profiling questionnaire. I had to watch a video as well, which was almost 4 minutes long.
Anyway, my phone lost signal and I lost the questionnaire…. so, I never will know if it was for zero money.
Next, I was asked some profiling questions and offered a 50p survey for only 5 minutes… this was more like it.
I answered questions for a few minutes and then it told me the survey wasn’t a good fit… I can’t fathom what I said to get chucked off.
I also expected to get 10p for my time, as another review said you get rewarded even if you get thrown off a survey.
Well, this did not happen in my case. So, I’m unsure if that’s a reality in the UK, perhaps it’s just the US that you get compensated.
In any case, I tried again. More profiling questions followed… I was then offered 50p again, for 7 minutes…
I got thrown off again. Getting bored by this stage.
Including the profiling questions,I must have been messing about with this app for 30 minutes and I hadn’t made any money at all.
Hours Later……
Some hours later, I tried again.
This time I was offered a survey that claimed to be only a couple of minutes and offering 50p.
It was something I hadn’t seen before, which was an auction. I had to bid initially for a £100 amazon giftcard, if I won – the price would be legally binding.
I just bid £5. It didn’t say anything about that following – next I answered questions about electric toothbrushes.
I was then asked to bid on an electric toothbrush.
I bid £1. There were a couple more question and that was the end. I made my 50p….
Although, I have no idea how you find out about the auction. I don’t have high hopes after only bidding £5 for a £100 voucher though! 😀
Watch Out For Trick Questions!
Survey sites are sticking in little trick questions more and more…
This prevents people from randomly selecting an answer without reading the question.
One question I saw – said “some people don’t pay attention in surveys… select option 4 below.”
very quickly, you would be caught out by a question like this if you were not paying attention.
So, if you are looking to make money here and not get thrown off of surveys – keep an eye out for questions like this.
What Do Other People Say About QuickThoughts APP?
Here is a quick roundup of how some of the feedback looks for this App.
There are tens of thousands of reviews for this website and some fairly decent feedback considering, although my personal experience hasn’t been great.
Your success rate at managing to complete and qualify for surveys is going to be dependent on many things, including your location and other factors, to do with what products you own, services you interact with, how much you earn, your job description and much more.
Many people leaving feedback have found that they’ve made a bit of money pretty easily.
At least you seem to make a fair amount per survey and they don’t seem too long.
Commonly, this seems to be 50p in the UK and $1 in the USA.
QuickThoughts Pros Vs Cons
PROS
- Large number of countries you can sign up to.
- Free to join.
- Attractive looking App, easy to navigate.
- Some unusual surveys.
CONS
- Only surveys available – rather than cashback and other offers.
- How successful you can be at qualifying will vary considerably from person to person, (that’s just a fact with all survey sites though).
- I read in the US that you can only redeem Amazon vouchers. I don’t know if it’s a glitch, but it looked like I could only redeem itunes vouchers in the UK, which would be useless for me.
QuickThoughts Review Conclusion: Is This Worthy Of Your Time?
If you’re going to spend time on these sorts of Apps, I’d probably rather download something like MooCash ….. as they have a lot more variety, in terms of earning.
For someone interested in making money from these pocket-money type Apps, one of the best ways is to download a bunch, so that you always have tasks available to do.
At first, I wasn’t impressed at all by this App. But, in the end, I quite liked the interesting auction survey and did eventually make that 50p…
Even though, in reality, it did take me over half an hour, due to not qualifying.
This is such a common issue for most people who complete surveys though. What counts is, whether you enjoy it or not.
Prolific is the one survey panel I’ve found, that does not screen out!
If you’re purely doing it to make money only, then no – there are better ways to make money with your time.
But if you enjoy taking surveys and checking out different providers then, it may be worth a look.
Beyond Surveys And Apps – Making More On The Side?
If you can dedicate at least 10 hours a week to a side project, (or more!) then you could potentially make a lot more online.
I primarily make the most online right now from affiliate marketing, which is basically earning money from recommending products and services,
Often I recommend things and won’t make a penny – not all companies compensate people for recommending them. But thankfully, lots do!
If you’d like to earn money from writing things that you’re passionate about or interested in, there is a real way you can do it.
Don’t think you have to be a technical genius, or a good writer either…
… I have watched many people succeed who started with zero technical knowledge, (including me) and where English isn’t even their first language!
