Textbroker is probably one of the most well known content mills out there on the net today.

Once you have been accepted, you get to check out a large group of “orders,” and you can browse topics that interest you.
When you find an order that you feel able to complete, you can find out all the available details about the task and have 10 minutes to accept the job.

How much you can earn is going to depend on your level – as a beginner, you will earn the lowest.
Gradually, you can earn up to 5 cents a word, at the highest level.

Want to learn how it’s done?

It’s not only a platform for writers, but for Freelancers of all kinds.
The structure is very similar to Upwork, (another useful platform, mentioned earlier!).

Pitch for jobs and submit your work to clients. Just like Upwork, once it’s approved, you will get paid.
It’s a straight forward platform and a good place to build up relationships with clients that you can get repeat work from.

10. Create Your Own Brand – Pitch To Clients!
If you really want to make money Freelancing – you’re better off forgetting about content mills and small income opportunities.
While this may be a way to test the water and build your confidence, it pays really badly and is unlikely to be worth it to you in the long run.
The best option is to….
- Create your own writer-based website, (creating a simple website, has never been easier).
- Identify a niche that you’d be comfortable writing about, (you don’t need to be an expert!).
- Create a portfolio of work relevant to your niche – one way to do this is by guest posting, (creating posts for other bloggers for free, which you can link prospective clients to!).
- Pitch for jobs! Yes, you can do this on Platforms like Problogger, Upwork, or Freelancer… But you can also identify websites and blogs in your niche, and contact them directly too.
If you want to learn more about how to directly pitch to clients and learn all about Freelancing, I recommend this course.
The list does not stop here!
These are just some ideas to get you started right now :).
