What Is The Panthera Network About And Is It Legit?
If you stumbled upon my review today, the chances are you’re curious about the Panthera network and perhaps aren’t completely sure what it involves; or even if it’s legitimate are all.
This is understandable; as there are plenty of worryingly shady affiliate based networks out there.
Thankfully, I first found out about the Panthera Network through a fellow affiliate marketer that was already doing well within the same space as me; so I was confident it was a legitimate platform.
Just because it’s legit though, it doesn’t necessarily mean you should join it and whether you should or not may be dependent on how much experience you have so far within the CPA/affiliate marketing area and what niche you’re in.

Overall Rating: Legit. If you’re interested in CPA marketing, this is an interesting platform to join, with a variety of offers available. You won’t need to worry about them paying you, they’re a legitimate platform. Click here to sign up.
CPA Networks Vs Affiliate Networks
For a long time, I never really looking into promoting CPA offers and was purely focusing on traditional affiliate marketing offers.
So, CPA offers stand for cost-per-action and this means, that generally you are paid a certain amount per action of your visitor.
This action is typically something like; signing up to a website, (such as a paid survey website) joining a free trial, signing up to an email list, or entering an online sweepstakes.
This is distinct from a regular affiliate offer; which will typically have to involve a customer making a purchase. When a customer purchases something after going via your link, you make a sale.
With a CPA offer, they don’t have to buy something; but just complete some sort of action – like entering their email address.
CPA offers will often pay less per action than an affiliate sale, (not always) but can be easier to get.
It’s easier to get people to sign up to a free offer, than to get them to buy something, right?
Therefore, CPA marketing can actually be one of the easiest ways for affiliates to make their first initial sales online.
The problem is though; that often CPA networks want you to have some experience before they accept you on board.
That said, you should always contact the network directly if you’re declined and ask them why.
The Panthera Network automatically declined my application twice… But I contacted them directly and spoke about the offers I wanted to promote and they accepted me.
So, don’t just take it for granted if you aren’t taken immediately.
I joined the Panthera Network originally, to promote some online survey related offers, (whose basic on-site affiliate programs are generally not very profitable) and they have quite a large selection in that area.
The Panthera Network has a a variety of offers in many niches and I will go over some of these a little further down.
What Sort Of Offers Are There On Panthera Network?
As you know, I’m in the save & make money online niche and there is a fair amount in this area. Plus, there is more than branches out into the more “frugal living,” area… So, things like, free samples, freebie offers, sweepstakes offers.
Other categories include some of the following:
- Work From Home,
- Entertainment/Music/Sports,
- Holiday/Seasonal,
- Dating,
- Health & Beauty,
- Gambling,
- Finance/Legal,
- Family/Kids/Pets,
- Employment/Education,
- Books/Magazines,
- Games…. This isn’t a complete list; but as you can see – it covers a wide spectrum. Although, from what I find from browsing about; the Pantera Network does seem to particular cater well to the money saving/frugal living/make money online type space.
Important To Note:
Panthera Network has a lot of offers on their site, from many companies and not all of them are great.
It’s important that you don’t just promote something because it seems like a right fit for your niche – but that you actually check it out and feel that it’s decent quality and a good fit for your audience.
Tools Available At The Panthera Network:
There are a variety of tools that you have here that can help you see how well your promotions are going.
You can access these on the left-hand side of the site once you’re signed up and logged in. 
The first main section is a drop down menu under “Reports.”
Performance Report: This can show you how well each offer is performing each day; how many conversions you have and other aspects including; impressions, how many clicks your offer has had from your site, your click-through-rate, (CTR) and payout.
Conversion Report: Simply shows you how many conversions you have had and the payout. You can adjust the dates to see how much you’ve made within a certain time frame. There are also various filters you can use, so that you can view statistics on a particular set of offers you’re promoting. For example; if you use sub-IDs, then you can see exactly how well each is performing.
Sub IDs are a way that you can add a tag to affiliate links that will let you know where sales have come from. For example; you may have the same affiliate link on several posts and it can be useful to know which post is performing the best, (or not!).
Referral Report: This is where you can track commissions from your referrals, if you’re promoting the Panthera Network.
They also have a mobile APP; that you can download via IOS, or Google Play.
There are also some additional advanced tools that you may go into down the road – things I haven’t looked into; like conversion tracking pixels and APIs… Haven’t delved into the API thing, so I can’t advise on that right now.
How Do You Get Paid?
Like many affiliate networks, there is a minimum payout threshold, which is $50. You don’t need to make this right away or anything. Anything you make in your first month, simply stays on into your next month and so on, until you reach $50.
There are a variety of ways you can be paid, including directly into your bank, PayPal and Check.
You don’t need to do anything in order to get paid – if you’re over the $50 amount, they just pay you via any method you’ve specified. For some reason though, your first payment is made via Check – I’m unsure why.
PROS VS CONS
PROS
- A large number of offers in various niches.
- A number of useful tools.
- A few different payout methods.
- You can use SUB-IDs to track your links in different locations.
- You may find it easier to make sales early on with CPA offers
CONS
- There is a $50 payout threshold. So, unless you feel confident that you can make some sales, you may want to hold out applying.
- Probably not for total newbies; some experience would be advisable.

Is Panthera Network Legit? Should You Sign Up?
This CPA network is legitimate and could well contain some offers that would be well suited in your niche. Some of these offers can be easier to promote, because you don’t have to make a sale – like you do with traditional affiliate offers.
Many people will be more inclined to sign up for a freebie offer that just requires some information, (like an email address) – but not always as willing to part with their cash!
The trouble is, these offers can come across as spam-like at times – so, you need to be selective with your offers and make sure they’re a good fit with your audience.
Are they going to provide them value and is it really something they’re going to be interested in?
For example; don’t try to spam your audience with some freebie coupon offer; when you’re actually in the dating niche. Well, unless it’s related to dating obviously! 🙂
