Scratch Royale Review – Can You Win Real Cash?

Another day… Another App! Today I’m taking a look at Scratch Royale – an app that claims you can make money with free scratchers on your smartphone.

There are many of these Apps available on Google Play at the moment and many are also incredibly similar.

Some Apps you may have already played like it include Lucky Day, Lucktastic and Lucky Money.

There are Apps out there with scratch card games, where you don’t win anything at all.

But with these Apps, you have a very SMALL chance of winning.

And I really mean small.

Nevertheless, there are real winners out there.

So, surely it’s better to play an App where there could be some teeny tiny chance to win, compared to zero chance to win at all.

I guess, if you’re going to spend time playing games on your smartphone and it’s something you enjoy – then why not, right?

The thing is, some people really believe that Apps like this are a scam.

That they start paying you out small amount at first – and then completely stop entirely before you reach the cash-out amount.

If these wins were really “random…”… Why would this happen?

The creators of these games claim this is not the case, but there have been enough complaints to wonder otherwise.

• Verdict: It’s legit, but your chances of winning are questionably low.

What is Scratch Royale App?

An App you can find on Google Play for android, (or play on other devices – like Chromebooks!) and play virtual scratchers, to potentially win money.

When you sign up via Facebook, (or email) you can even select your own currency. I’m from the UK, so I opted for pounds.

I see scratchcard wins from 50p to £250 – but you also play for tokens with every game that you play.

For every scratch off opportunity you get, you get an added bonus at the bottom of the card, this is where you can win tokens.

You can save your tokens up over time and then exchange them for real money.

Every few scratchcards you try, you will be confronted by an Ad that you have to sit through.

These adverts are very often for other Apps where you can win money, or gamble money.

This is how Scratch Royale makes their income and come up with enough money to pay you in prizes and keep the App going.

I don’t really mind the Ads that much, they’re quite short. But you may feel differently!!

What Are The Odds Of Winning Big Prizes With Scratch Royale?

I couldn’t find a detailed breakdown of the odds on Scratch Royale, (many Apps do not seem to provide it, although some do).

However, I know from looking at the odds on other Apps, like Lucky Day, that your odds are winning are super, super LOW and the fact they don’t really talk about the odds here, makes me question just how bad the odds are.

What’s more, people have said that the more often you play this App, the fewer tokens you win.

You may have thought it should be the other way around.

Surely, the more you play, the MORE you should win……. But nope and I guess there is a good reason for this.

If playing more necessarily = more tokens and more money, some people may just stay playing 24/7 and would be able to cash out regularly.

Of course Cash Royale don’t want this to happen; so there is probably a maximum amount of tokens you can win in any given space of time.

Basically, this is no quick and easy way to make a few dollars – it could take you many months to see any kind of reward.

By which time, I guess you could be wondering whether all that time could have been better spent.

Unfortunately this is why many people will just quit and will never see any money at all, which is a shame.

Only those who just relentlessly keep it up for month after month, may eventually reach that threshold.

How Many Chances Do You Get?

There are 20 different scratchcards initially and then, once these are all done, you have to wait until the timer goes doesn before your cards are refreshed.

On my first try, I saw I had to wait 5 hours something – the second time it was two hours.

I saw a scratchcard for as low as 50p – but I didn’t win.

With many of these Apps, I’ve normally won a small cash prize quite early on, (such as $1) and I thought they did this to encourage you to keep playing.

But, I didn’t get a cash win on my first try here.

How Do You Win?

The rules tend to be the same for all these Apps….

Get a scratch card and scratch off the panel. If they have three matching images – you win the prize!

If you do win ANYTHING at all, take a screen shot and keep it stored somewhere as proof, in case it doesn’t register.

Below each main scratch panel is a bonus section and this is where you can win tokens.

If you want to stick on the token route to cash —- well, you will need to get 5,000,000 before you can cashout $5, so it may take you sometime!

Other Ways To Make Money On Scratch Royale:

Scratch Royal is part of Viker games – who also do Spin Day and Scratch Day and there are many similarities.

Such as, other ways you can get bonus tokens.

Ways you can get additional tokens include:

• Downloading other Apps, (like Scratch Day – their partner site),
• Sharing on Social Media,
• Do all the scratch cards available,
• invite your friends/family,
• Logging in every day for six days,

From doing the extras you can make between 1000 and 100,000 extra tokens.

But considering you need 5,000.000 for £5/$5… This is still small fry!

Is Scratch Royale Legit:

Like I said, I believe they are legit – as in, there are real winners out there and it’s not all a hoax.

But even so, that doesn’t mean they’re not being deceptive.

That is, by giving people false hope that they DO have a reasonable chance of winning cash – rather than letting people know the true chance and the odds.

Despite this, it’s not like they’re taking your money!

This App is free, so all they are taking up is your time.

Pros Vs Cons

PROS

• Totally free to join
• Join Worldwide
• Some people enjoy these Apps, even I do to some extent.
• Nicely laid out, attractive app to play.

CONS

• 90 day cut off – if you don’t login, you will lose all your money and tokens.
• Odds of winning are crazy hazy low.
• No where to find out exactly how many winners there are, or the odds of winning particular prizes.
• Not available on the App store/ for IOS.
• If you want to rely on tokens to cash out – you need five million before you do, (good luck with that!).
• You’ll have to sit through many Ads while you play.

What Do Other People Say?

Scratch Royale currently has over 14,000 ratings – and a three star rating.

A lot of these Apps have actually exceeded this rating in the review stakes, even those by the same company.

But this one has fallen short.

I would say the review below sums things up pretty well.

So, Catherine above demonstrates just how much time she’s spent doing this App, with zero reward.

She’s explained how now, the amount of tokens she seems to get per scratchcard has reduced to 100 tokens!

Therefore, she’d have to do 30,000 more scratchcards, (despite having 2 MILLION tokens….) to cash-out the measly $5/£5.

How Can You Cash Out?

Once you’ve reached their cash-out threshold, ($10/£10 or 10 Euro) you can get paid via PayPal.

But with tokens, as mentioned, you need 5 million tokens and then get get £5/$5 or 5 Euro via PayPal.

It could take up to 7 days to actually receive the money.

Obviously if it takes any longer, contact them directly about it.
