I wasn’t sure exactly what Crowdtap was when I first came across it. They said they rewarded people for sharing their opinion and got the impression they gave out freebies.
So, I presumed it was some sort of paid online survey site at first, but actually, it is a little different to that.
Because you can also have the opportunity to test out products as well, interact with brands and other ways to earn, (like completing polls).
So, there is that other dimensions to it, that make it unique.
Is Crowdtap legit? Yes…. But that is it worth it?
In my Crowdtap review today, I will run over exactly how you make money on this platform, as well as the pros & cons and additional feedback online.
This platform helped me make my first 10k+ profit online – you can check it out for free here.
Signing Up With Crowdtap:
I tried to sign up via their main page both via mobile and on my chromebook but, for some reason, it just didn’t work.
I did contact their help team – but in the meantime, I managed to sign up over here. by going to the right corner where it says, “sign in,” and then there is a small-print to the bottom right where you can sign-up.
In any case, once I’d signed up via Facebook – I noticed that Crowdtap is only open to US residents, (previously I’d read it was open to the UK and Canada, so this must have been incorrect).
If you’re not in the US, there are plenty of other ideas right here; if you’re in the UK here are 10 survey panels you can try.
If you are in the US, you can choose to sign up via Facebook or email.

Crowdtap helps brands get answers to questions that can help them make decisions that can improve their business.
Whether that be by developing new products, advertising, branding marketing and so on.

How Do You Earn Points?
There are various different missions you can do in order to earn points that you can accumulate over time.
The common types of mission you will find are…
1/ Questionnaires:
which are essentially just surveys that you need to complete and some of the most common type of task and most popular.
2/ Participate In Discussions:
This will involve users on Crowdtap having discussions about various products and brands on the platform and sharing their opinion.
3/ Freebie Samples – Hosted Parties:
You need to apply for these specific missions and get accepted, but it’s possible for brands to send you free things in return for your feedback.
This will involve having a hosted party where you share products with others.
4/Photo Missions:
Here a brand may ask you to take a specific photo or something, a bit more of a creative way for them to get feedback.
But the Photos you take, need to be your own! The photo may include the product and there will be specific instructions you need to follow.
5/ Polls:
I’m Sure everyone is familiar with these and will only take a matter of seconds.
A quick question which you may need to select a multiple choice answer – but some do require a bit more effort and a written answer.
Work With Brands That YOU Choose:
One cool feature about Crowdtap, is that you can actually choose to work with brands that appeal to you.
On your Crowdtap dashboards, you can go to the brands tab and check out what missions each brand has available at any particular time.
Once you choose brands to work with, these will appear under the “My Brands,” section.
The brands you have not chosen to work with yet, will be found under the “Other Brands, ” section.
You can also view the missions based on type – so, if you just want to check out Questionnaire missions, you’re able to do so.
How Do You Make Money?
Crowdtap have a points system, much like many other survey-related sites, like Swagbucks.
For every 1000 points you earn, you can make a $5 reward.
Previously, your points were automatically cashed out for a $5 Amazon card at 1000 points – but now you are able to save up your points, for higher rewards.
However, you while all activities will pay you in points, you can also get free samples.
This is via the hosted parties and free sampling missions however and there is no guarantees that you will get accepted on to those – you just have to give it a go.
The amount you earn will really vary.
Of course you will get paid a different amount, depending on the mission and how much effort it takes.
You can now get paid in increments of $5-$20 and from a variety of places including – Amazon, Walmart, Playstation, Xbox and Adidas.

In fact, some users seem to really love it and a good way of earning gift cards and getting free samples.
Take one of the glowing positive reviews below….
And the good feedback seems to go on and on. From a negative perspective, the only thing that stood out was one customer, who had had a negative experience with customer service.
A few others had problems when they felt their accounts were wrongly band – but people are always going to complain about this.
Often, people don’t really know when they’ve broken a rule and of course, sometimes something is flagged up by mistake.
Be careful to follow the rules that I mentioned above and keep your account in good shape.
Crowdtap also has some decent feedback on Sitejabber – with 4.0 Stars at the time of writing and well over 200+ reviews.
