PointClub Surveys is a reward site, where you can earn a small amount of money for completing surveys online.
They offer you $5.00 for signing up – many survey sites like this now offer reward incentives for signing up with them.
However, you will have to reach their withdrawal threshold prior to cashing out, it’s not just like you can sign up and take out the $5.
In this case, you will need to make $10 before cashing out via a variety of gift cards, which isn’t too high at all.
PointClub Surveys Review In Brief:
Website: Point Club, https://www.pointclub.com (I’ve noticed there are a bunch of varieties on this, with the same name).
Business: Online paid survey website.
Money Making Opportunity: low – pocket money.
Overall verdict: Points Club is Legit, but it’s not one I personally rate that highly.

What is PointClub Surveys About?
PointClub rewards you in points for completing online surveys.
These surveys are created by companies who want to conduct research to find out more about peoples habits, likes, dislikes and so on, in order to increase their profits and improve their business….also, to better understand their customers.
Companies pay survey sites a commission for every person that fits a certain crtiteria and is eligible to complete their survey.
Often, you will find that you do not match this certain criteria.
In this case, you will be chucked off the survey and will not be rewarded for your time. You then have to find an additional survey.
This is an issue faced by all survey related sites, which is a bummer.
Making Money With PointClub Surveys:
As you can see above – PointClub claim that as they have surveys chosen, “just for you,” it makes getting rewards easy.
Rewards that you can earn by accumulating points for each survey that you can complete in full. These typically will range from 5 mins, to 20 mins.
The trouble is, none of these surveys are not really chosen for you at all. You aren’t specifically sent surveys that cater just for you.
With many survey sites, you complete a long profiling questionnaire initially, as this is often meant to mean you’re sent surveys that you’re more likely to qualify for.
Although, I have never found this to be the case. Whether I have completed profiling questions first or not, I’ve still had a hard time qualifying for surveys.
Specifically with PointClub surveys though, they don’t even set you up for profiling questions, so how they’re meant to send you surveys just for you?!?
It’s more a case of…….there are a certain number of surveys that they can send you to and who knows whether or not you will actually qualify for them.
In a majority of cases, it’s probably you will not qualify and will have to look for another survey.
This isn’t PointClubs fault personally, this is just a survey-website issue, (although, I talk more about disqualification a little further down…..)
Many survey websites do try and act as though making money with paid surveys is a SIMPLE way to make a bit of extra money… but it really isn’t.
One thing I did like about this site, is they provided a little incentive for coming back.
If you come back every day, they give you a 10% bonus on everything that you have earned the previous day.
This will give you some encouragement to complete surveys. Although 10% on what you do earn, will likely be minor.
How much can you earn with PointClub Surveys?
How much you earn is impossible to guess really – because this will depend on how many surveys you can actually qualify for.
You will need to earn 10,000 points before you can apply for your first giftcard, (equilivent to $10).
The first survey I was offered was worth 1000 points, (around $1) it said it would only take 5 minutes.
Surpirisingly, this one did actually say what it claimed. I answered a few questions, I also confirmed my email and got the 1,000 points.
At the time of wriitng, surveys initially available to me ranged between 750 and 3000 points.
3000 points, (or $3) is on the higher end of what I’d normally expect to see for a survey.
However, when I attempted a couple of those, it was no surprise to me that I was thrown off…. I didn’t qualify.
Have you made 3000 points for a survey at PointClub? Let me know in the comments.
How do you get paid
There are a whole bunch of options as far as giftcards go, from ITUNES, to popular well known stores and restaurants.
Although, you will need to make 50,000 if you want to withdraw via Paypal, ($50).
This is a shame, as paypal is a favourite option to many. It would take you an extremely long time to get to that $50 threshold.
Most people will have given up on it by then.
My favourite way to get paid via survey reward sites is either by Amazon vouchers, or Paypal.
With Paypal, that’s just straight up cash, so what’s not to like about that?
It’s worth nothing too, that while you can access and partake in Pointclub surveys outside of the US, that doesn’t mean that all the rewards will be available to you.
Many of the rewards are specifically catered to US citizens.
With survey sites, if you’re not doing it because you enjoy it – there isn’t going to be much point doing this.
Because, you’re not going to get much out of it financially.
If you dedicate some time to it, you may make $10 every couple of weeks or something, if you’re lucky. But there are better ways to make $10 online!
Tips for not getting banned from survey sites!
Survey sites are quite notorious for chucking people off their platform and also for closing accounts without warning.
This leads many people to start calling survey sites scams.
In reality though, survey sites can be extremely strict about the way you answer surveys.
If they don’t feel you are providing legitimate answers, they will chuck you off.
– Be consistent! It can be really difficult to be consistent with your answers to surveys.
That is because, some of the questions are worded in such a way, that you can easily leave answers that contradict each other.
If you leave too many answers that contradict each other… (e.g one answer you say you’ve eaten out twice in the last month at a restaurant.. but later say you ate out once in the last six months…) this is a big reason you could get your account frozen.
– Don’t complete surveys if you’re tired.
Completing surveys when your concentration levels are low, will lead to you answering inconsistently.
Sometimes a survey will ask the same question several times, it will just be worded very slightly differently.
This can catch you out, if you’re not paying attention.
– Just… be honest with your answers.
If you try and answer each question as honestly as you possibly can and read each question carefully, you’ll be far less likely to make any mistakes.
PointClub Complaints Online?
The complaints about Pointclub, will be similar to many other similar sites of its kind!
However, I had a little look to see some of the common ones…
– They seem to have appeared to temporarily have removed amazon from their gift card list, which has upset a lot of people.
– No response via customer service for some, whether via email or Facebook with regards to their accounts, or not receiving rewards in the designated time.
– It can take a long time now, for you to be disqualified from a survey. You may be completing a survey and be almost done, when suddenly you’re chucked off.
– Reaching the cashout threshold and being told you still need to complete more surveys to qualify… only to then not having any available.
– Some claim that on ON COMPLETION of surveys, they are told they do not qualify at the end. This is once surveys have already been done.
POINTCLUB PROS VS CONS
PROS
– Daily sweepstakes wins – 10 win 1,000 points a day, (you need to join them on Facebook for codes).
– 10% bonus incentive if you come back each day.
– Attractive, easy to navigate layout.
– Low payout threshold.
CONS
– They make it seem like the surveys are specially catered to you.
– You won’t earn very much at all.
– While you can join outside the US, you will have much fewer cashout options.
– Some people have claimed to have been told they don’t qualify for a survey, after they’ve completed it in the entirity. While I cannot confirm this is true, it’s not a one-off complaint.
– You need $50 worth of points before you can cashout with Paypal.

Is PointClub Surveys A Scam?
No – I don’t think PointClub is a scam. At the time of writing, there are still people being paid and enjoying this website.
However, there are a lot of similar complaints against this company and it’s not a site that I can personally recommend at this time.
I also feel how they market themselves is very slightly deceptive, as they make it sound as though these surveys are catered to you and that making money from surveys is an easy way to make extra cash…
I also don’t recommend completing surveys as a good way to make money online in the long-term, if you’re looking to make more than small change, (and I do mean that literally).
Too many people do go into completing online surveys, hoping they’ll get a real side income from doing this and that’s just not how it is.
If you’re looking for a survey site that doesn’t screen you out though, then I highly recommend Prolific.
Alternatives To Survey Panels:
I understand some people actually just enjoy completing surveys in their spare time, as a way to unwind and maybe make a little bit in the process.
I understand that… that’s why I do things online like play the HQ app, or Cash Show... I rarely make money from them, but they’re just fun.
On the other hand, if you do want to make more money in the long-term, there are many ways you can start.
From freelancing, selling your own products, You Tubing, writing e-books, selling a service, blogging… and many other ways.
But they will all take a lot of work to actually get to the money making stage, in most cases. This is what often puts people off.
I make the most online by having my own website/blog….

Don’t even consider this shyster company if you live in the UK. They updated their site in March 2022 and since then it’s been impossible to complete any surveys, all old benefits have been removed and all the ‘new’ benefits are restricted to the US.
They owe me $17 and refuse to pay it since it is below the already high $25 threshold.
Their customer services is a misnomer and merely parrots the standard excuses and at 1* on Trust Pilot that alone should tell you to leave well alone. There are many more better more honest sites out there.
