Bigspot Review: Is Bigspot A Scam?
Blogspot.com is another survey related site. But could this one worth your time?
Or should it just join the ever growing number of survey-related time wasting sites? Most importantly, is there an any opportunity to make money here? I checked it out to find out.
Signing Up With Bigspot:
Bigspot was simple and quick to sign up to. You just need to enter your name, DOB and your location. It appeared that you could sign up from a majority of countries worldwide.
However, immediately after providing these details – I was shown the following message:
So, it tells me it’s matched me with the independent survey company Global Testmarket. (I reviewed that here previously).
But how exactly has it matched me!? I didn’t provide any information to them all yet. So, this is just a blatant lie.
I’m also unclear why they have only linked me to this particular survey site – it may be because I’m in the UK and it’s one of the main survey sites they’re affiliated with, (e.g. they earn a commission when anyone joins Global Testmarket via their website).
I believe if you’re in the USA, you may get four or so options – including sites like Toluna and Ipsos-Isay.
If you’re just fed up with making peanuts online, try this instead.
Bigspot De Ja Vu!
Bigspot immediately reminds me of a survey site I reviewed the other day called survey money machines.
Because, this is not a survey site within it’s own right, but simply a portal into other survey site websites, or a “hub.”
They’re not actually matching any particular site specially to you, despite what they say here.
They have no idea which survey site would suit you best – they’re just linking you up to sites that they’re affiliated with.
That is, the ones where they make a commission for introducing you and getting you to sign up to various survey companies.
Survey Hubs Are Really Pointless Sites:
There are these sorts of survey hubs popping up all the time, but they hold zero value in my opinion.
All they will do for you is just link you up to a bunch of survey sites for their own financial gain, without any benefit to you.
They aren’t really recommending particular sites, or matching you to them for any special reason – there is no benefit to you going through them, but you may get extra spam for giving them your email address.
You also still have to go through the same mundane sign up process with every single survey site you sign up with, whether you go via them or not.
You could just find any of these survey sites yourself with a quick google search.
You May Struggle To Complete Surveys:
As I’ve mentioned many times before: The problem with most survey sites is that you go to all the effort of signing up with them and then you next to never qualify for surveys.
Practically all survey sites have major disqualification issues.
This is because the companies who want results for these surveys, are after a very particular demographic.
The problem is, you often have to ask a bunch of questions before you get thrown off the survey and then you’re not compensated for your time.
I don’t waste my time doing endless surveys anymore, but I am members of some sites that I can earn a small amount from with zero effort – for example; by getting cashback at Swagbucks.
Or if you’re in the USA, Ebates is another popular option.
There are also sites like Dealspotr, where you get paid a small amount for posting any deals you find.
It makes sense to make money from things like cashback, because that is simply making savings on things you’d already be buying.

Bigspot On TV:
I was surprised to discover that Bigspot has actually had some TV commercials out there.
I’ve never before seen a survey site advertise on television before, I’m surprised they have the budget for it – but I guess that just shows you how much they could potentially make commission wise.
As TV will have a giant reach, I can only presume that they must get plenty of people signing up via them.
Did you see Bigspot on TV? What did you think?
Bigspot Feedback Online.
When I was looking for feedback online for Bigspot, I noticed some fake-looking positive reviews.
One person wrote about how Bigspot can help you if you need money and could be like having a second job…. no survey site can act like a second job. This is BS.
The problem with feedback online is, you can easily pay someone to put some good reviews out there. It would help if these at least looked genuine and authentic though!
It’s no surprise that many others have shared their dislike of Bigspot!
There are plenty of unsatisfied people out there who believe Bigspot is just a big waste of time.
As the person above says, he was rejected four times in a row when trying to complete surveys.
However, this will be with one of the providers that Bigspot connect you with and this is totally NORMAL for survey sites, which makes it all the more time consuming and pointless.
You think you may get $1 for a 20 minute survey, but it could actually take several hours, because you’re constantly rejected from surveys.
Bigspot Review Conclusion – Is Bigspot a Scam?
I wouldn’t label Bigspot a total scam exactly, they’re not doing very much here at all in fact.
All they are doing is linking you to other survey sites online, all of which are legitimate sites, (as far as I can tell so far).
But just because these survey sites are considered legitimate, that doesn’t mean you can actually make very much money with them and neither does it mean that you should sign up with them.
The money you could potentially make from completing surveys is minimal and most legitimate survey sites will tell you outright that they don’t really provide a money-making-opportunity.
They are not going to supplement your income. If anything, they may give you a small amount of pocket money to play with every now and again.
Something else to be weary of however, is that Bigspot.com can sell on your personal details to third parties and this will likely lead you to receiving considerable email spam.
In fact, people generally report an increase in spam when they sign up to survey websites.
So, if you do decide that you want to sign up to some survey sites, you should open up a completely new email account and just use that email to sign up with surveys.
All in all, if you want to try out survey sites – you should just google for a free list of survey sites and check out some for yourself.
One of the few related sites I still use is Swagbucks – but I don’t complete surveys for the sake of it anymore, aside from when I’m doing a review.
If you want to make money in the long term, having your own online business is the way to go… I first got started for free here.*
All the best,

Bigspot is a SCAM indeed and as you mentioned, they are just about advertising. They don’t even have a survey platform and they just forward users to affiliated websites. I’ve also heard many complaints about not respecting the privacy policy. Thanks for the review.
